Founder Adelaide McKelvey brings more than four decades of experience across Sub-Saharan Africa, working at the intersection of commercial growth, market expansion, enterprise development, and strategic transformation. Having operated across 18 African markets, her work has consistently focused on helping organisations navigate complexity, unlock opportunity, and build commercially viable models in challenging and emerging environments.

Her experience spans multinational leadership, entrepreneurial ventures, and advisory roles — shaping growth strategies, structuring partnerships, leading large-scale commercial operations, and helping organisations rethink how impact can be integrated into core business performance.

Today, her work focuses on helping corporates, foundations, and growth-focused organisations move beyond compliance-driven approaches to ESG, B-BBEE, and supplier development — toward models that create measurable commercial value while enabling broader economic participation.

This includes:

  • developing scalable partnership and enterprise ecosystems,
  • enabling market access for underserved businesses,
  • designing AI-enabled commercial platforms such as Helplink,
  • and helping organisations align operational execution with long-term strategic purpose.

Her growing focus on AI and automation is shaped by a practical commercial lens: ensuring that technology solutions are grounded in real operational environments and capable of delivering meaningful outcomes across complex African markets.

She is also a member of the South African Artificial Intelligence Association (SAAIA).
